HUE STUDIO ARTS INC. POLICIES

MONTHLY PAYMENTS

Full payment is required the first week of each month. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover. Credit Cards collected at registration will be charged if a payment is not collected after first attendance of the unpaid month. All checks must be made payable to Hue Studio Arts Inc. There is a $50 charge for bounced checks. If the credit card on file is declined & payment is not delivered in a timely fashion, Hue Studio Arts Inc. can deny attendance, or child will sit out during activities until payment is made.

ART MATERIALS

Hue Studio Arts Inc. provides all the necessary supplies for students working in multiple mediums during our yearly program. To allow this, we charge an annual supply fee at the time of registration. You will only be charged at registration & then again annually as long as you, or child is in attendance. This fee allows us to keep new palettes, brushes & other supplies in house for new students, but is not intended to be taken home. Specialty courses & programs may not include materials & are noted clearly with detailed lists of supplies. You are responsible for bringing your weekly materials during these specialty classes. In most instances, materials that are not property of Hue Studio Arts Inc. are not stored at the studio. Works in progress such as wet canvases, or large paper may remain at the studio between weekly sessions with your name on it. Hue Studio Arts Inc. is not responsible for mis or unlabeled work, materials not taken home or put away properly, or any work, finished, or unfinished left at the studio for longer than 3 months.

PHOTOGRAPHS & RECORDINGS 

Hue Studio Arts Inc. classes, events, parties & workshops for adults, teens & children may be recorded & photographed for marketing, website, social media, archival &-or other purposes. Such recording or photographing may include pictures of the attendees, individuals at our program, class participants & students work. Your registration & attendance at any class, party or event at Hue Studio Arts Inc. shall be deemed your consent to appear in such programming &/or photographs without compensation or additional approval of any kind.

CLOSING DATES

All closing dates are listed on our website in the Student Calendar section & will be announced during the week prior to closing. In the event of upcoming inclement weather, announcements will be made on our social media accounts & in our News section of the website.

MAKE-UP CLASSES

Our monthly sessions consist of weekly classes that are 1 hour & 45 minutes long. Some months will consist of 3 weeks & some will consist of 5. Because of that inconsistency, we do not prorate months past your initial registration date. In the case of missed classes due to holidays, sickness or inclement weather, students are welcome to do make-up classes during scheduled class times. The ability to do a make-up class must be approved by Hue Studio staff. If there is attendance without approval, you may incur extra charges for additional classes. It is the students responsibility to attend paid for classes, multiple missed classes can not be combined as a credit for an additional month. Make-up classes can only be used during months paid.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Private parties are based on availability & advanced appointment only. We collect a non-refundable 50% deposit to hold parties date & time. Full payment is due at the parties end. Gratuity is appreciated for Hue Studio staff. Children’s parties are 2 hours long & adult parties are 3 hours long, parties that exceed the allotted time may incur extra charges. Hue Studio Arts Inc. requires a headcount 24 hours in advance to adequately prepare for event. Significant difference from headcount may result in additional fees. If you need to cancel your private event, please give as much notice as possible. A fee will be charged in addition to the non-refundable deposit for parties cancelled within 48 hours of event.

CREDITS & REFUNDS

No refunds. Trial classes are available at a low cost before committing to a larger package, or tuition. Credits may be issued on a case by case basis, but once materials are used, a credit is unavailable. Hue Studio Arts Inc. is not responsible for classes that you committed to & then neglected to attend. Make-up classes may be approved for missing your weekly class, multiple missed classes can not be combined as a credit for an additional month. Make-up classes can only be used during months paid. Summer class packages must be used during summer months & do not roll over into fall, as make-up classes from the school year do not roll over into our summer program. Medical issues & financial hardships will be taken into account.

SUMMER CAMP

Hue Studio Art Inc.’s summer program runs for 7 weeks. Students welcome to attend any combination of days, workshops, times or weeks. Class packages must be used during summer months & do not roll over into fall. All projects must be completed, or taken home by Hue Studio Arts Inc. summer program completion.

WORKSHOPS

Our Step-by-step children’s workshops have limited available space. All sales are final, if for some reason you can not attend, amount can be applied to other workshop or event. Additional charges may apply. If you signed up with a large group, we advise showing up a few minutes prior to workshop to reserve seats together. All projects must go home with students same day. Specialty workshops can not be prorated, & make-up classes are unavailable. Student is responsible for their own attendance in specialty workshops.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

Parents should drop children off when class begins & promptly pick up their child when class time is over. Hue Studio Arts Inc. does not accept responsibility for children outside of designated program hours & or outside of class location. Parents are responsible for notifying appropriate staff of a child's absence, late arrival, early or late pickup & any special circumstances relating to arrival or departure for children's classes at Hue Studio Arts Inc. We will not be held responsible for a child if he/she arrives early or stays late. We are only responsible during the specified program times. Children’s completed artwork is the responsibility of the parent. Once a project is sent home, Hue Studio Arts Inc. is not responsible for fixing damages, or for any lost, or stolen art work. If artwork is not taken home, completed or uncompleted, artwork may be recycled after 3 months of storage.

PRACTICES & POLICIES

The use of cell phones will not be permitted during class times for any age group. Hue Studio Arts Inc. reserves the right to collect children’s cell phone if it is becoming a distraction, that will be returned to the parent at the end of the session. Hue Studio Arts Inc. has a zero tolerance policy for bullying & freshness. After attempting to address the issue with a parent, Hue Studio Arts Inc. reserves the right to exclude from membership or activities, anyone, in its sole discretion, it deems necessary, that violates Hue Studio Arts Inc. practices & policies. This includes, but is not limited to: anyone who disrupts a program, anyone caught damaging, stealing, or vandalizing property, anyone with an overdue balance, or anyone who fails to abide by the studio's rules & practices.YOUR REGISTRATION FOR YOU, OR YOUR CHILD AT ANY CLASS, PARTY OR EVENT AT HUE STUDIO ARTS INC. SHALL BE DEEMED YOUR CONSENT TO TO THIS POLICY.
